The Name is Prabu. I am a Singapore-based flautist, initially trained in carnatic field. Apart from classical I also play film music, movie tracks, jazz, fusion, pop and rock on flute. Aspire to push the boundaries and capabilities of bamboo flutes further. I have taken part in National Arts council Indian Music competitions in 2004, 2006 and 2011 where I received a 3rd Prize with Swathi ensemble in 2006 and a 2nd Prize in the flute open category in 2011.
